Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported the information.On the night of June 29 (starting at 19:00 on June 28), Russia launched 537 aerial attack vehicles:477 Shahed strike UAVs and various decoy drones from Kursk, Shatalovo, Oryol, Bryansk, Millerovo (Russia) and Chauda (Crimea). More than 250 were Shaheds4 Kh-47M2 Kinzhal aeroballistic missiles from the airspace over Russia’s Tambov region7 Iskander-M/KN-23 ballistic missiles from Russia’s Voronezh region and occupied Crimea41 Kh-101/Iskander-K cruise missiles from Saratov, Kursk, and Bryansk regions5 Kalibr cruise missiles from the Black Sea3 S-300 surface-to-air guided missiles from Russia’s Kursk regionThe air assault was countered by Ukrainian aviation, anti-aircraft missile forces, electronic warfare units, drone teams, and mobile fire groups.As of 08:30, preliminary data shows air defense forces neutralized 475 Russian aerial targets. Of these, 249 were shot down by fire; 226 were lost to tracking or suppressed electronically:211 Russian Shaheds (and other UAVs) were shot down; 225 were lost due to electronic warfare1 Iskander-M/KN-23 ballistic missile was destroyed33 Kh-101/Iskander-K cruise missiles were shot down; 1 was lost4 Kalibr cruise missiles were shot downRussian aerial weapons were intercepted in six regions, with debris falling in eight locations.The attack caused casualties in the Kharkiv, Cherkasy, and Prykarpattia regions.
