Kharkiv Mayor Ihor Terekhov made the announcement.“In June, we recorded an absolute monthly record low for the number of air attacks on Kharkiv since the war began. These included rockets, drones, and airstrikes,” he wrote.Among the injured were 25 children. The mayor also recalled a combined assault on the city that took place on June 7.“That day, a major civilian enterprise producing soft containers for agricultural products was hit directly. The explosions caused a large fire and structural collapse. Essentially, only ruins remain of the building. Firefighting efforts there lasted nonstop for 12 days,” Terekhov said.He noted that two people were rescued, but the bodies of six workers were found under the rubble.“In terms of danger and technical complexity, this situation was close to the tragedy at Epicenter shopping mall,” the mayor said.He urged citizens not to ignore air raid sirens and to seek shelter immediately.Russia refrained from airstrikes on Ukraine only twice in 18 months — FM Sybiha.
