CBS News reported this, citing a White House official.A White House official said Wednesday that the halt in certain weapons shipments to Ukraine is part of a larger review the Pentagon is conducting of all U.S. arms deliveries abroad.Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth launched the review weeks ago on President Donald Trump’s orders. The White House official said the review was meant to make sure the Pentagon was prioritizing America's needs under the previous administration.Though the pause in shipments to Ukraine leaked to the press, the official said other countries were also "reclassified," meaning their priority for receiving U.S. weapons and ammo was downgraded. The official didn’t name those countries or say how long the pause in Ukraine’s shipments would last. The United States has suspended deliveries of certain air defense missiles and precision-guided munitions to Ukraine over concerns about shrinking U.S. stockpiles
