Ukrainian Armed Forces officer and volunteer Andrii Tkachuk said this on Espreso TV."I have repeatedly said that Russia's main goal is to reach the administrative borders of the Donetsk and Luhansk regions. This is the key task for the Russians in 2025. Therefore, Pokrovsk is currently a priority city for them. The Russians are actively attacking around this city and are trying to form a semi-encirclement to surround Pokrovsk. They are also reinforcing the front in the direction of Kostiantynivka, and these are their key objectives. The second priority for the Russians is not Zaporizhzhia, the Sumy or Dnipropetrovsk regions, but rather the situation in the south of the Kharkiv region. In particular, Kupiansk, where on the right bank of the river, the Russians are preparing a bridgehead for active combat operations," Tkachuk said. The officer emphasized that the Defense Forces of Ukraine have begun actively destroying the enemy's logistics in the temporarily occupied territories of the Donetsk and Luhansk regions."At the same time, a number of active and positive steps by our Defense Forces in medium-range strikes, particularly on Khartsyzk, Yasynuvata, Donetsk, and Luhansk, indicate that we have started targeting the enemy's logistics. This will undermine the enemy's offensive capabilities," he added.During the day on July 2, there were 185 combat clashes on the Russian-Ukrainian front. In the Pokrovsk direction, Ukrainian defenders stopped 58 enemy assaults.
