Ukrainian lawmaker Mykhailo Tsymbaliuk stated this on Espreso TV."The Ukrainian authorities—the highest political and military leadership—should make every effort to preserve and restore American support. We are, of course, grateful for the help from our European friends, but it is the support of the United States that is key for us, both in military and political terms," Tsymbaliuk noted.According to the MP, Ukraine should not give up—it is necessary to fight, using all diplomatic levers and possible arguments. It is important to involve all representatives of parliamentary diplomacy in this process, regardless of party affiliation. Everyone who has connections with members of both chambers of the U.S. Congress should be engaged, since bipartisan support from the United States has always been extremely important for Ukraine. And there is still a chance to restore aid. We must fight, because without this support it will be extremely difficult for us."The state and the military-industrial complex are heavily dependent on weapons and ammunition produced in the United States. Even the weaponry supplied to us from Europe is mostly produced either in the US or at joint ventures in Europe. The U.S. is the author of this aid, and without their consent, even that assistance will be minimized," Tsymbaliuk added. The United States has suspended the supply of certain anti-aircraft missiles and precision munitions to Ukraine due to concerns about its own military stockpiles.
