Russia loses 970 soldiers in one day of war in Ukraine
This was reported by the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.Russia's total combat losses from February 24, 2022, to July 23, 2025, are approximately:personnel – about 1,045,220 (+970) tanks – 11,041 (+3) troop-carrying AFVs  – 23,037 (+2)artillery systems – 30,722 (+42) MLRS – 1,446 (+1) air defense systems – 1,199 (+0) aircraft – 421 (+0) helicopters – 340 (+0) operational-tactical-level UAVs – 47,552 (+115) cruise missiles – 3,533 (+0) warships/boats – 28 (+0) submarines – 1 (+0)vehicles and fuel tanks – 56,041 (+88)special equipment – 3,935 (+0) The number of losses is being updated.
