He lived with his new family in Italy, but recently, observing events in Ukraine and remembering his roots, he managed to find his biological brother and decided to return and join the defense forces.He had already spent some time in Ukraine, then briefly returned to Italy before heading back to serve again. According to reports, Artem was killed last Monday as a result of a strike on a training ground.His death was announced on Facebook by the mayor of the town, Massimo Cavazzana, who expressed condolences to the family."With great sorrow, we say farewell to Artem Naliato, who chose to fight for the freedom of his homeland, with which he felt a deep connection," the mayor wrote.Earlier in July, the death of a volunteer from Hungary and the injury of two volunteers from Romania were reported.
