Oleksii Rozumnyi, the head of the planning department of the 13th National Guard Brigade Khartiia, stated this on Espreso TV.“In our sector, the Russian army continues to exert intense fire pressure, but has not moved to more active operations involving vehicles, armored equipment, or motorcycles. The enemy continues to operate in small infantry groups and is trying to shrink the so-called 'gray zone', creating favorable conditions for further, more active operations,” Rozumnyi noted.According to him, the invading troops are experiencing shortages for objective reasons, but they are also receiving reinforcements, especially infantry, since it suffers the greatest losses.“Usually, the Russians do not keep a large number of infantry on the front line, but instead deploy small groups of 5–6 soldiers in separate areas. Since the front line is now quite stretched in depth, if you count everyone, the total numbers are actually quite significant,” Rozumnyi added. The Russian army is also trying to enter the city of Kupiansk in the Kharkiv region from the northwest.
