Ukrainian MP Mykola Kniazhytskyi shared his opinions on Espreso TV.“Obviously, Russia is testing the response of Poland and NATO countries. This attack happened shortly after the meeting between President Trump and Karol Nawrocki. At that meeting, Trump promised U.S. support and Poland’s security. We see that none of this is happening,” said Kniazhytskyi. The MP emphasized that Europe must finally understand that Russia’s main goal is the restoration of the USSR and full control over the European continent.“Poles were so preoccupied with cutting support for Ukrainian children, deciding not to pay them 800 zlotys, that it seemed the war would not affect them. I believe many will now reconsider Polish-Ukrainian cooperation. This cooperation is crucial in the defense sector, since, one way or another, the Ukrainian army is holding back Russian forces near Kramatorsk, Pokrovsk, and other areas. Without help from neighboring countries, partners, and NATO, the Russians will have to be stopped somewhere near Warsaw. In reality, this is Poland’s choice. For us, it is clear. Ukrainian society and the military on the front made their choice long ago — they are defending Ukraine and all of Europe. Europe has treated Russia with a false sense of security, not understanding that Russia’s real goal is restoring the USSR and controlling all of Europe,” he added. On September 10, Polish Armed Forces’ Operational Command put air defense systems and aviation on highest alert due to Russia’s night attack on Ukraine: Russian drones violated the country’s airspace.
