The Polish agency PAP reported the information.Commenting on the situation with the discovered Russian drones at a briefing in Sierakowice (Pomeranian Voivodeship), Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk noted that none of the drones that violated Poland's airspace on the night of September 9-10 posed a threat to the population."We will find out how many drones fell when they are all found," Tusk remarked. The Prime Minister emphasized that the search and identification of the drones are still ongoing. Civilian drones are also being widely used for this purpose, which could be mistaken for Russian objects."We are trying to be very thorough in this matter and, above all, not to create panic. Currently, there is no reason to believe that any of these findings posed a threat. So far, not a single case of an armed drone has been discovered that could have exploded or otherwise harmed residents or their property," he stressed.Tusk also commented on the statement by Czech President Petr Pavel, who suggested that NATO countries could shoot down Russian fighter jets that violate their airspace."We are ready for any decision aimed at destroying objects that could pose a threat to us, such as Russian fighters, if (...) they, for example, fly over our territorial waters," replied the head of the Polish government.According to Tusk, in such situations, one should think twice before making a decision that could lead to a serious escalation of the conflict."In situations that are not entirely clear – for example, the recent flight of Russian fighters over the Petrobaltic platform. But without a violation, as these are not our territorial waters. Before making a decision on actions that could lead to a very acute phase of the conflict, you need to think twice," noted the Polish Prime Minister. He added that before deciding to possibly shoot down Russian fighters, Poland must be sure that it "will not be alone in this."Russian drones in Polish airspace.
