He wrote about this on Facebook. The first day of the UN General Assembly’s high-level segment has concluded. As the Foreign Minister noted, it highlighted the global significance of Ukraine’s experience.“We need all voices from every continent and region to achieve this goal. Every voice matters, and we must find the right approaches to convince others that this war is not just about Ukraine. It is about shared principles that know no geographic boundaries. That’s why we are equally relevant and important to the Caribbean, New Zealand, the Middle East, and Europe,” said Sybiha. As the minister pointed out, the negotiations and speeches on the first day of the high-level week revealed another interesting trend.“Ukraine is not just calling on the international community to help counter Russian aggression. We are ready to share our experience, lessons in resilience, and unique technologies to strengthen our partners. This added value of ours is of great interest to foreign states, from the Caribbean to New Zealand,” emphasized the Foreign Minister. He specified that this includes drone technologies, maritime and underwater drones, experience in decentralizing energy systems and managing them during an unprecedented crisis, as well as expertise in defending against combined air attacks involving over 500 drones and missiles.“At the ministerial meeting of the Caribbean Community, discussions focused on pathways to peace, Antarctic research, maritime drones, and food security. Ukrainian technologies were also highlighted in meetings with colleagues from Oman and New Zealand, at the ministerial session on Ukraine’s energy resilience, in talks with the Swiss counterpart, and with UN World Food Programme leadership. A similar theme was present in my speech at the UN Security Council regarding Russia’s violations of Estonian airspace,” Sybiha noted. He stated that Ukraine is offering very concrete solutions based on its own experience.“Ukraine proposes integrating air defense systems to jointly shoot down Russian targets. It urges abandoning illusions. It shares experience that no other country in the world possesses. It reminds me that Russian aggression against Ukraine began with hybrid provocations. It warns that showing weakness or waiting for the Russian threat to disappear on its own is not an option. Action is needed today, and it must be strong and united,” the minister emphasized. He emphasized that Ukraine’s voice today is “a voice of experience and concrete solutions for maintaining international peace and security.”“A voice of common sense, knowing that appeasement does not stop escalation. Only strength and pressure on the aggressor can stabilize the region and prevent further provocations. The new role of our country is being felt everywhere, as is the new respect for us,” Sybiha added. The Foreign Minister attended an informal meeting with over 50 leaders and foreign ministers.“Opportunities to rally the world in support of Ukraine and for peace likely only arise during the UN General Assembly’s high-level week. And we are making the most of them,” he concluded.
