But both contradict Ukraine's Constitution, which clearly declares the NATO course, and the same applies to elections - it's impossible to hold them during martial law. Moreover, elections cannot be held without preparation. This means that a ceasefire or truce are not conditions for holding elections. Therefore, neither the first nor the second is constitutional," Roman Bezsmertnyi noted.According to him, this tactical move was made by the Ukrainian side to make Trump finally understand that Moscow is not ready for constructive engagement.
