Ukraines Air Force reported that no Russian loitering munitions had been detected in the air since the start of the day on 8 May, although the Russians intensified tactical airstrikes.
One person was killed and two were injured in Russian guided bomb strikes in Sumy Oblast on the night of 78 May.
Ukraines General Staff reported that, as of 1600 on 8 May, Russian forces had continued assault operations across the entire war zone, with the number of combat engagements reaching 117.
