Russia launched missile attack on Ukrainian military training ground: killed and injured reported

Russian forces launched a missile strike on a training ground used by one of the mechanised brigades of the Ukrainian Ground Forces on Sunday 22 June. At least three people have been killed and 11 injured.

Details:As of 17:27, it is reported that three people have been killed and 11 injured.
Colonel Vitalii Sarantsev, Head of the Communications Directorate of the Ukrainian Ground Forces Command, told Ukrainska Pravda that the strike targeted a temporary training ground used for additional drills with personnel in the south of the country.
At the time of the strike, training exercises with personnel were underway at the facility.
A special commission has been set up to investigate the circumstances, and law enforcement agencies are working at the scene. Additional security measures are being taken in case of further Russian attacks.
Quote: "Thanks to promptly implemented safety procedures following the air-raid warning, heavy casualties among personnel were avoided. However, there are soldiers who have been killed and wounded. All those injured are receiving the necessary qualified medical care in healthcare facilities."
Background:
