The State Security Service (SBU) Colonel Roman Kostenko said this on Espreso TV."From the very beginning of the war, they have been trying to disrupt our mobilization. This was done in the information space—often inventing certain stories, often highlighting truly shameful incidents that have happened here regarding the Territorial Recruitment Centers. They waged such an information war, but when they realized that this was not enough and mobilization in Ukraine continued, Ukraine stood firm," he said.In his opinion, they are looking for other ways to destabilize the situation internally."They hope that the attitude toward the Territorial Recruitment Centers is so negative that this will make people more sympathetic to them. That’s why they try to strike the draft offices. In my view, these are more demonstrative strikes. We all understand that many offices have been relocated and are in other places, but they strike the buildings that were marked on maps or used during peacetime," Kostenko noted. He added that in most of these buildings, there are no conscripts or servicemen."There may be defense units there, the wounded, perhaps those who ignored air raid warnings, because they usually strike with Shaheds (drones). Some people ignore the warnings and, unfortunately, get injured. This is terror, which they are trying to intensify, and now they are directing it toward internal destabilization, trying to gain support through animosity toward the Territorial Recruitment Centers," the colonel summarized. On July 6, the Russian forces carried out a drone strike on a recruitment center building in Kremenchuk, Poltava region. On July 7, Russia attacked recruitment center buildings in Kharkiv and Zaporizhzhia with drones.Russia is conducting an information campaign to disrupt the mobilization process in Ukraine and is using a popular messenger app for this purpose.
