She said this in an interview with Fakty ICTV.Stefanishyna said she had information confirming the EU is likely to approve the 18th sanctions package against Russia this week."According to my information, European countries will still reach an agreement on the 18th sanctions package this week, including Slovakia and Hungary. But it’s worth noting that when the 17th package was under discussion, Hungary didn’t vote for it until the very last day. At one point, there was even a day-long delay before the sanctions took effect," Stefanishyna said.Commenting on the risks of future sanctions being blocked by individual countries, Stefanishyna said: "Without radical political leadership in the European Union, it will be very difficult."The 18th EU sanctions package against Russia was again brought up during a meeting of EU ambassadors in Brussels on July 4, but wasn’t adopted due to Slovakia’s stance.
