According to a Reuters report, citing calculations based on data from the European gas transmission group Entsog, Russian gas exports via the TurkStream pipeline reached 51.5 million cubic meters per day in July, up from 37.6 million in June. The figure also represents a 4.7% increase over July 2024, when exports stood at 49.2 million cubic meters per day.At the same time, total Russian gas supplies to Europe via TurkStream in the first half of 2025 amounted to approximately 9.93 billion cubic meters — exceeding the 9.3 billion cubic meters recorded during the same period last year.By comparison, Russia exported more than 63 billion cubic meters to Europe in 2022 and between 175–180 billion cubic meters annually before its full-scale invasion of Ukraine.TurkStream is now the only remaining route for Russian pipeline gas into Europe, following Ukraine’s decision not to renew its five-year transit agreement with Moscow, which expired on January 1.The European Parliament is considering proposals to accelerate the EU’s phase-out of Russian gas by one year — to January 2027.
