These attacks on cities are not just terrorism. They are an attempt at brutal reflexive control. They want us to look for the guilty party within ourselves, not in the aggressor.Earlier, when they still doubted whether they could break the Ukrainians, they mostly struck the energy sector. The consequences were noticeable but indirect. Now, the focus is on the psychological exhaustion of the home front. It is important for them to strike directly. Physically — potentially at each of us, mentally — at our endurance. At that time, the effectiveness of shooting down missiles targeting thermal power plants affected the amount of light in homes. Today, every missile that is not shot down poses a risk of hitting a residential building. Priorities have changed, and so has the sense of loss. That’s why they want us to start blaming each other: accusing the air defense, the Armed Forces, and the military-political leadership. Without understanding the real issue, they write "analysis" to fuel internal destruction. The best thing we can do to support the front is to clearly understand their goal. And not let them achieve it.SourceAbout the author.
