Journalist Svitlana Glaz reported this on Espreso TV.“At first, there was complete euphoria in Israel over the strike on the building where Hamas leaders were believed to be. People celebrated the attack. Then, over time, as new information emerged, the euphoria faded. This operation was carried out without Mossad for the first time; it was conducted by the government and military, including the Shin Bet. That was very unusual. I still believe Netanyahu definitely informed Trump that such an operation was being planned. However, there was some ambiguity. In fact, they discussed it at the moment when 15 Israeli planes were already in the air heading toward Qatar,” Glaz said. The journalist noted that Israel is considering the possible leak of details regarding the operation to eliminate Hamas leaders in Qatar.“Now, people are saying this was Israel’s biggest operational failure in recent years. In Israel, there are serious discussions that the details of the operation were leaked even before any agreements with the United States. Still, they could no longer cancel the operation, and the bombing of the building, where the Hamas leaders were supposedly located, took place. However, information indicates that the leaders were not there. They were in another building that no missiles hit,” she added. On the afternoon of September 9, explosions occurred in Doha, Qatar’s capital. Israel confirmed it had directed the attack at Hamas officials.
