Andrii Kramchenkov, the editor-in-chief of Suspilne.Donbas, stated this on Espreso TV."In the north of the Donetsk region, in the area of Sviatohirsk and Lyman, the Russian troops are trying to move in the direction of Yarova. If you look at the geographical features of the area, the invaders plan to use the Siverskyi Donets River, which is in the rear of our forces, to cut them off from Ukrainian territory and create an operational encirclement. The number of attacks there has now increased; the enemy is using classic tactics, as they do along the entire front line. It's not even small infantry groups that are advancing, but one or two infantrymen who try to break through and accumulate. When a group of 7-10 people gathers, they attempt to storm small sections. All of the enemy's logistics in this area are also on foot, meaning they only have with them what they carried in terms of ammunition and food," commented Andrii Kramchenkov.According to him, the situation in Siversk has been difficult for a long time. It's hard to say that the city is surrounded, but the Russian army is pressing from three sides. The situation has barely changed in a year, but the intensity of enemy attacks has also increased, although we do not observe any changes on the map."In the Kramatorsk agglomeration, Russia continues its attempts to encircle Kostiantynivka. The enemy has already passed Toretsk from the south and is approaching Kostiantynivka from the south. From the eastern direction, it has completely overcome Chasiv Yar; only the western outskirts remain under the control of Ukrainian infantry. The Russians are finding it extremely difficult to advance there, so no significant results are being observed. They are advancing much more successfully west of Kostiantynivka, where they have managed to cut the Pokrovsk - Myrnohrad - Kostiantynivka highway and are approaching the encirclement of the city from a third side. That is, we will now essentially observe the development of the battle for Kostiantynivka, which is shelled daily with artillery and aerial bombs. The situation there is quite difficult," noted the editor-in-chief of Suspilne. Donbas. The journalist mentioned that enemy FPV drones are already reaching Druzhkivka. There was a recent case where a Russian FPV flew into a hospital window, resulting in injuries. This means that north of Kostiantynivka, in Druzhkivka, enemy FPVs are already arriving."Entering Kostiantynivka itself is already quite complicated for our film crew, as we can only enter in armored vehicles equipped with electronic warfare systems. Kostiantynivka is the closest rear area for our forces fighting for Chasiv Yar, Kurdiumivka, and Toretsk," Kramchenkov summarized. On September 13, Russian forces launched strikes on Kostiantynivka in the Donetsk region, using artillery and aerial bombs. The shelling resulted in the deaths of three people, with another six injured.
