Diplomat Oleksandr Levchenko stated this on Espreso TV."Regarding Russian oil, according to the latest figures, France is the largest buyer, followed by Belgium, and then Hungary and Slovakia. In total, 7 countries buy oil from the Russian Federation, but we keep talking about Slovakia and Hungary. France buys 4 million tons, a country that is supposedly 100% on our side. Therefore, to some extent, we should understand Trump, and if his plan is implemented, Putin will really be finished. However, this plan is very difficult to implement because these 7 countries are not going to simply give up Russian oil. For now, we are focusing on the issue of Hungary and Slovakia, which are blocking us at every turn," the diplomat commented.According to him, Trump has appealed to European countries to impose sanctions on China, which is the largest consumer of Russian oil. Consequently, this would be a blow to Russia if the supply of 50% of Russian oil through China is stopped."The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the PRC, Wang Yi, has now gone on a European tour, starting with Poland, followed by France and Germany. And among other issues, the peace plan, which consists of 6 points and is known as the Sino-Brazilian plan, will be discussed. Wang Yi has come to promote the Chinese plan, which is supported by 120 countries, mainly from the Global South," noted Levchenko. On September 19, Bloomberg reported that the export of Russian oil products has fallen to its lowest level since the beginning of the full-scale war in Ukraine following Ukrainian drone strikes on oil refineries.
