Ukraine’s Special Operations Forces (SOF) reported the information. On the night of September 5, a Ukrainian Armed Forces SOF group conducted special reconnaissance and identified an S-400 Triumf missile system in the Kaluga region.“After visual confirmation of the target, the operators transmitted the data for a strike. As a result of successful operations, Special Operations Forces strike drones hit a launcher and a radar station of the Russian S-400 Triumf missile system,” the Special Operations Forces emphasized. In addition, according to Ukraine’s General Staff, Russia attempted to organize the delivery of various ammunition to the 17th Tank Regiment of the 70th Motorized Rifle Division near temporarily occupied Bohdanivka in Luhansk region, as well as distribute over 19,000 drones of various types for Russian forces operating in Donetsk region. The SOF prevented this.“Trucks delivered tens of thousands of mines, grenades, and rounds of various types, thousands of tank shells (including precision ZUBK-14 rounds), and artillery shells to the tank regiment’s field warehouse. In the second case, the shipment included various drones (Molniya, Boomerang, Vandal Novgorodsky, Gorynych, and others) and related equipment (batteries, communication modules, and video transmitters),” the General Staff clarified. On August 29, 2025, the troops of Ukraine's Operational and Special Forces Unit Dnipro struck a drone distribution logistics point, resulting in the destruction of massive reserves of Russian strike drones.“The next Russian ammunition shipment occurred on September 18, 2025, when Ukrainian Armed Forces and Security Service units destroyed a regimental ammunition depot of the Russian occupying forces in Luhansk region. In addition to the ammunition, enemy vehicles were also burned,” the General Staff reported.
