Zelenskyy sanctions firms and individuals supporting Russia's war effort

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has imposed sanctions on executives and companies supplying Russia with weapons, critical components and equipment.

Quote: "Today we have synchronised our sanctions with Japan – I have signed the corresponding decree. The sanctions list includes executives and companies that aid Russia's war machine and supply it with weapons, critical components and equipment."
More details: The president said that Ukraine values its partners' willingness to incorporate its sanction proposals into their own measures.
Quote: "We also make sure to implement our partners' sanctions within the Ukrainian jurisdiction."
More details: Zelenskyy said Ukraine has adopted eight sanction packages since June 2025, aligning them with measures imposed by the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Japan and all sanction packages introduced by the European Union. In total, these measures target 281 individuals and 633 entities.
A decree published on the president's website enforces the decision of the National Security and Defence Council of Ukraine (NSDC) dated 11 October 2025 on the application of sanctions.
The sanctions target seven Russian nationals and one North Korean citizen.
The list also includes 14 companies registered in China, Kazakhstan, Türkiye, Russia and Seychelles.
