Ukrainian DevDroids company presents Recruit drone relay with wired power supply

The Ukrainian DevDroids company has developed Recruit, a drone relay designed to work in conjunction with ground-based robotic systems. The main task of the device is to ensure stable communication between operators and ground-based robotic systems over long distances, which allows for expanding their range of use.

Details: The Recruit acts as an airborne relay, maintaining signal transmission in cases where a direct communication channel with ground systems is difficult or unavailable. One of the key features of the drone is its ability to operate for up to five hours in the air thanks to power from a ground source. This avoids the need to spend time replacing batteries and ensures uninterrupted communication during long operations.

The developers also note the Recruit's increased resistance to electronic warfare, which is critically important in modern combat conditions. In addition, the device is capable of operating in adverse weather conditions, including wind, fog and rain.
DevDroids is also known for its other drone technologies. For example, in August, it presented a new reconnaissance and strike ground robotic complex, Zmiy Droid 12.7, which combines Rovertech's Zmiy platform with DevDroids' Wolly 12.7 combat module. Prior to that, in June, the company collaborated with the manufacturer of the Ravlyk ground robotic system to present a new reconnaissance and strike system called Droid Raw 12.7.
