Details: Lasiichuk said that the notional line of contact in Pokrovsk runs "along the railway", and Ukrainian troops are maintaining full control over the northern part of the city.
He added that Ukrainian units operating in central Pokrovsk are holding back Russian advances.
Quote: "The situation is more complicated in the southern part. This is effectively one of the areas the enemy is using for build-up and advance. We detect and destroy the enemy, preventing it from reaching Pokrovsk.
The enemy is choosing a tactic to bypass urban fighting, avoid entering the settlement, and attempt to move around from the flanks. But we also control these areas. As of today, there is no encirclement or blockade of Pokrovsk."
Details: Regarding the connection with Myrnohrad, Lasiichuk confirmed that logistics to the city have become more difficult but remain in place.
Quote: "Units continue to enter the settlement and carry out their tasks.
For a long time, the enemy tried to launch frontal assaults on our forward positions, but failed. Now the enemy has chosen another bypass tactic and is attempting to cut the logistical route. But there is no encirclement. The main task of the units in this area is to widen the logistical corridor."
