Valeriy Borovyk, founder of the defense products manufacturer First Contact, shared this on Espreso TV."I believe that next year a major technological breakthrough will occur specifically in the field of ground-based robotic systems, underwater drones, swarm UAVs, and AI development, as well as electromagnetic and laser technologies proving themselves and scaling up. These technologies could become the trend of the war in 2026. Also, in my opinion, the war may gradually shift to space. However, this probably won't happen next year. This is how I see the logical development of this world," Borovyk said.He elaborated that the development of artificial intelligence will obviously lead to its application for countering enemy satellites. Every country will be looking for ways to control their assets from space."Right now, we and our partners are working very actively to ensure Ukraine has its own reconnaissance constellation. Regarding space, which I mentioned, I'm talking about artificial intelligence combined with unmanned systems that can destroy other satellites and will interfere with enemy satellites' ability to transmit signals, or more precisely, to control assets and communications closer to Earth. In other words, all of this will be implemented if countries find solutions for controlling their ground-based assets, then the other side will be forced to seek methods to disable satellites," he added.
