Defence Blog reported that Serbia has publicly showcased Russian Krasukha electronic warfare systems, marking the first official acknowledgment of such deliveries despite international sanctions linked to Moscow’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine.“The acquisition highlights Serbia’s continuing defense ties with Russia, even as Moscow faces international isolation and sanctions over its war in Ukraine. Western officials have repeatedly warned against new arms transfers from Russia, but Belgrade’s parade illustrated that deliveries of advanced systems are still occurring,” the outlet said. The Krasukha system is designed to jam satellite communications, radar, and air surveillance systems, with a reported range of several hundred kilometers, according to Russian sources. In April, Yevgeny Rytnikov, director of the Bryansk Electromechanical Plant design bureau and one of the key developers of Russia’s Krasukha electronic warfare system, died.
