Jacek Piechota, a Polish politician and president of the Polish-Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce, stated this on Espreso TV."Polish companies are very interested in participating in the process of rebuilding Ukraine. The Polish Investment and Trade Agency has over 3,000 Polish firms that are interested in the process of rebuilding Ukraine. But this process is ongoing in Poland as well. We emphasize that Ukrainians are constantly carrying out the reconstruction process. They are rebuilding what was destroyed by the war and are also implementing many investment projects. During the war, Poles have registered almost 300 different companies in Ukraine. We are in third place regarding the number of registered entities in Ukraine, and this is a very important indicator," noted Jacek Piechota.According to him, the areas of particular interest will depend on where Ukraine's greatest needs lie. This may be related to the reconstruction of infrastructure, the energy sector, or public utilities."Of course, we must not forget that Ukraine is a very important element, a treasure trove in the agricultural sector for both Europe and the world. Therefore, investment projects must also be carried out in this sector. We put it this way: Ukraine is creating ever-better conditions for implementing investment projects that are approaching the requirements of the European Union. I think that various projects can be implemented here both now and in the future," the Polish politician stressed.Piechota noted that none of the Polish companies that operated in Ukraine before the war have left the Ukrainian market since the beginning of the full-scale invasion. The firms had previously invested over $200,000. In his opinion, investing during a time of war, when risks are heightened, is excellent proof that it is worthwhile to invest in Ukraine and to carry out investment projects there.Former German Chancellor Angela Merkel believes that the position of Poland, Lithuania, Latvia, and Estonia on refusing EU diplomatic relations with Russia pushed the Russian dictator Vladimir Putin towards a full-scale aggression against Ukraine.
